Starting in 2009, I have made a move back into large-format photography, with the one compromise of continuing to use roll film. This collection of photos will include work done in the 6x12 format, using a Shen-Hao or Sinar Vario roll-film holdler in a Sinar F/F2 4x5 view camera. All images scanned either on an Epson V750 or a Nikon LS-8000ED in two parts and then stitched.

Dogwood and Pines in Summer, 2009. Fuji Velvia, 180mm Schneider Symmar Convertible, exposure not recorded. This was a test exposure of the new (to me) Sinar camera in my yard, in late evening with the sun almost set, just throwing little bits of light through the pines.

Cannon and French Castle, Fort Niagara, 2009. Fuji Velvia, 47mm/5.6 Schneider Super Angulon, f/22, shutter speed not recorded. The 47/5.6 Super Angulon is intended for the 6x9 format, but despite strong darkening in the corners does provide coverage for 6x12. Schneider claims 123mm, and here's 125.

South Redoubt with French Castle in Background, Fort Niagara, 2009. Fuji Velvia, 65mm/5.6 Schneider Super Angulon, f/22, shutter speed not recorded.

Japanese Maple in Autumn, 2009. Fuji Velvia, 121mm/8 Schneider Super Angulon, f/16 at 1 second.
