Business trips by car are usually long, but sometimes they yield unexpected opportunities. We took an afternoon off from driving back to Virginia from Toronto and endured the throngs to see a bit of the famous falls. We also wandered up to where the throngs don't go to see the not-so-famous ancient fortress.
